The 856 UTC is very close to being the perfect pilot watch in my opinion, with so many features to be had for each person’s preference. Its looks, function, and sustaining features, like the copper sulphate insert, makes this a well engineered watch.

This Sinn 856 UTC has a 40mm bead-blasted stainless steel round shape case, fixed bead-blasted stainless steel bezel and secured on a brown leather calf strap on a stainless steel pin-buckle. The black dial has Arabic numerals at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions, white sword-shaped steel hands, minute markers around the outer rim, 24hr inner ring and a date aperture at 4 o’clock.   This all is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, steel screw-down crown and solid case back.   This Sinn model is powered by an ETA 2893-2 automatic movement that generates 42-hours power reserve.  Water-resistant at 200 meters.
