Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days Acciaio – PAM00372


This timepiece has since its launch, has gone on to become one of the most popular Panerai models. In the 1930s and 1940s, the Radiomir and Luminor names identified the luminescent material used by Officine Panerai to increase the night-time and underwater visibility of watch dials intended for use by Italian Navy commandos.

This Panerai Luminor 1950 3 Days Acciaio, more affectionately known amongst Paneristis simply as the PAM 372, has a 47mm polished stainless steel cushion case shape with a brown leather strap secured on a steel pin-buckle.  It sports a fixed polished steel bezel.  The black sandwich dial has luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. Its clean, simple and perfectly balanced. As it is the norm with Panerai, the superluminova is extremely bright under low light conditions.  This is all protected by a domed plexiglas, iconic crown protector system and transparent case back.  This Luminor is powered by the Panerai Calibre P.3000 hand-wound mechanical movement and generates a power reserve of approximately 3-days.  Water-resistant at 100 meters.
