It was with OMEGA’s maritime legacy in mind that the brand launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005. The stylish OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage. This model, the ref. 2918.50.82, was part of that initial generation of chronographs, at the time positioned as the highest-grade professional diving chronograph option in the brand’s catalogue. It quickly caught the attention of enthusiasts for it’s ability to touch the bottom of the ocean and return unscathed.

This Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m has a 45.5mm round shape stainless steel case, uni-directional rotating stainless steel bezel with orange top ring showing 24 hour markers and a black rubber strap with orange stitching and stainless steel clasp.  It’s got a black dial with luminescent index hour markers and broad arrow hands. Orange arabic numerals at 3,6,9 and 12. Date calendar window between 4 and 5 o’clock aperture. Helium Escapement Valve at the 10 o’clock position. This is all protected with a Scratch-esistant Sapphire Crystal, screw down crown and solid case back. The movement for this Planet Ocean is an Omega calibre 3313 automatic movement and it generates a power reserve of 52 hours.  Water resistant at 600 meters.
